We are delighted to share that LilyAnne’s Wellbeing has once again been named the Chosen Partner of the Year at this year’s Open Jar Festival – marking the third consecutive year of this incredible partnership.

This ongoing collaboration has not only raised vital funds to support people facing mental health challenges, but has also strengthened our ability to deliver essential services within our community. Through the generosity of the festival, we’ve been able to expand and sustain our Support on the High Street project, which offers multiple levels of wellbeing support for those in need.

A Year of Growth and Connection
2025 has been a milestone year for LilyAnne’s Wellbeing. We have relocated to our new base at Titan House, York Road, Hartlepool, giving us a central hub to deliver more accessible and wide-reaching support. Alongside this, we have launched our innovative Connected Pathways programme, designed to work hand-in-hand with individuals experiencing mental health struggles. By collaborating with multiple local partners, we are creating a stronger, more integrated network of care for those who need it most.

Supporting Festival-Goers and Our Town Centre
Thanks to our partnership with Open Jar Festival, support extends beyond our own community projects. Those attending the festival are able to access wellbeing support on-site, ensuring that the event is not only a celebration of culture and creativity but also a safe and supportive space for everyone.

This year, we are also proud to highlight the extra nighttime support available across Hartlepool town centre. Alongside our work, the incredible Hartlepool Town Pastors continue to deliver their vital service in the community. For many years, they have been there to support vulnerable people on nights out, helping them get home safely and offering a friendly ear to anyone in need. Their dedication is truly inspirational, and their partnership in creating a safer, kinder town is invaluable.

Words of Thanks
Our founder, Trevor Sherwood, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the festival team and shared just how much the event means for Hartlepool:
“We cannot thank Open Jar Festival enough for their continued support. This partnership truly makes a difference – not only to our charity but to every individual who benefits from the vital services it enables us to deliver. The festival itself is amazing for our town. We speak to so many people who have travelled far and wide to attend, bringing new visitors and energy into Hartlepool. What’s more, those on-site businesses are local, supporting our town’s economy, while hotels, restaurants, and our vibrant nightlife also benefit. It’s a true community boost.”
Looking Ahead
As we celebrate this third year of collaboration, we look forward to building on this partnership and continuing to provide safe, welcoming, and essential support to those who need it most — whether that’s through our daytime wellbeing programmes or nighttime support across Hartlepool.
