Hartlepool charity hopes new community kitchen will relieve foodbank pressures
A Hartlepool charity's hoping a new 'community kitchen' will put less pressure on foodbanks which are being used almost seven days a week.
Its aim is to help people by teaching them how to make meals with what they get as well as offering its microwave and oven for use.

Kieron and his partner were living in rat-infested accommodation in the "worst area" of the town trying their best to make ends meet.

Hartlepool Cafe prescribing coffee to help beat loneliness
LilyAnne's Coffe Bar, in Hartlepool, has launched a "prescribed coffee" project to try and reduce loneliness in the town.
It is working with Hartlepool and Stockton Health to enable GP surgeries to be able to prescribe a cup of coffee to patients they think are suffering from loneliness.
