Make a referral

You can make a self-referral or ask a professional to refer you to LilyAnne’s Wellbeing.

We will contact you as soon as possible once your referral has been received.

Please note there may be a short wait before support becomes available, but we’ll do our best to offer an appointment as soon as we can.

At LilyAnne’s Wellbeing, lived experience is central. Many of our team are neurodivergent. Some live with Autism, ADHD, or both.

This means we understand. We know the struggles and the strengths. We listen without judgment. We take time. We create safe spaces where people feel accepted.

Why lived experience matters

Neurodivergent Support in Hartlepool

At LilyAnne’s Wellbeing, we support people with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodiverse needs. We know that having a brain that works differently can bring both strengths and challenges. Many people face long waits for help or feel misunderstood. Our hub in Hartlepool offers a safe and welcoming place where people can access counselling, activities, and community support. With lived experience at the heart of what we do, we aim to reduce loneliness, improve mental health, and make sure everyone feels valued and included.

Neurodiversity means every brain works in its own way. Some people are neurotypical. Others are neurodivergent. This includes Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and Tourette’s.

These are not illnesses. They are natural differences. Neurodiversity shows us that difference is normal. People with different brains bring strengths, ideas, and talents.

What is neurodiversity?

Neurodivergent people often face more mental health challenges. This is not because of their diagnosis. It is often because of barriers in everyday life.

Long waits for support, lack of services, sensory overload, and being misunderstood can all cause stress. Many people also feel lonely or left out when the world does not meet their needs.
