Tracey Egglestone

Trustee

Tracey Egglestone has devoted her life to caring for others through a long career in the care sector, and after witnessing profound loss during the COVID 19 pandemic she developed a deep fear of social connection that made it impossible to return to the work she loved, while also navigating her own lived experience of the mental health system including crisis team support and periods of being sectioned under the Mental Health Act, and with the help of LilyAnne’s Wellbeing she gradually rebuilt her strength from a time when she believed she was being followed and was so fearful she would freeze at the door and need to be met in the street, to now finding LilyAnne’s a safe space and using her journey to support others, bringing to her role as Trustee a compassionate, person centred perspective rooted in hard won insight as she champions inclusive, trauma informed support that treats people with dignity and empathy and dedicates her time, knowledge and lived experience to shaping services that break down barriers, challenge stigma and offer hope to those who feel isolated or afraid.
