Counselling Service
LilyAnne’s Wellbeing offers an inclusive counselling service designed to meet the diverse needs of people across Hartlepool. Our service places a strong focus on supporting individuals with Autism and ADHD, recognising that neurodivergent people are at much higher risk of experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and isolation, yet often struggle to access mainstream support.
Counselling is delivered in a way that is accessible and neurodivergent-aware. Sessions take place in a safe, welcoming environment, with sensory-friendly spaces and flexibility around communication styles. Our team includes counsellors and staff with lived experience and dual diagnoses of Autism, ADHD, and mental health challenges, making the support authentic, empathetic, and tailored to individual needs.
At the same time, our service is also open to those who are neurotypical, offering accredited counselling for issues such as bereavement, loneliness, stress, suicidal thoughts, and life transitions. This ensures that the hub remains inclusive, bringing people together while still recognising the distinct needs of neurodivergent individuals.
By combining one-to-one counselling, talking therapies, and peer support opportunities, LilyAnne’s Wellbeing Counselling Service provides a holistic approach. Whether someone is neurodivergent or neurotypical, our goal is to reduce loneliness, improve wellbeing, and build resilience, ensuring every person feels listened to, supported, and valued.
