LilyAnne’s Coffee Bar was approached by a member of our Veteran’s Breakfast Club recently for help.
The veteran too ashamed by his circumstances did not wish to be named or have too much attention on the situation but approached the team for support because he was soon to gain custody of his daughter.
The situation was he felt ashamed that he was unable to afford any clothing or toys for her to wear or play with.
Then stepped in our team members who made their own donations of brand new clothing and then many amounts of clothing were then donated within 24 hours.
We appeal for clothing that no longer fit to be donated what amazed us just like members of the LilyAnne’s Coffee Bar team had done our customers went out and bought brand new clothing and donated toys also.
We are truly amazed at how Hartlepool comes together to simply help each other.
