PAY AS YOU FEEL PLAY GROUP
Each Tuesday we host two LilyAnne's playgroups for parents, babies and toddlers within Hartlepool. We host a morning session starting at 9.30 am till 11.3oam and an afternoon session starting from 1 pm till 3 pm.
What is pay as you feel?
Pay as you feel means you simply come along to the event and make a donation for what you feel it's worth.
This means for those who are struggling the groups are free and no one else really will know within the group.
Those who are able to pay what they feel a small donation will go to running the group and covering the costs of the event.
Access to the playgroup each child must have a place booked.
One adult per parent gets a Latte, Cappuccino, or tea.
Each little one gets a free soft drink and snack.
Young people are experiencing the highest levels of loneliness in society. But the common perception of the elderly as the most affected which isn't true. From a health, perspective loneliness is similar to the health problems, such as smoking, and is correlated to risk-taking behaviour.
Loneliness is a fact of Everday life
Loneliness amongst young people is part of everyday life and if you are a young person in Hartlepool it's normal to feel lonely at some stage of your everyday life. It's how we adapt to these feelings that help us reduce these feelings and creating human connections really helps.
No stigma we all experience it
At LilyAnne's we don't attach a stigma to loneliness because at some stage we all experience it. We are not a lonely coffee shop, we are an everyday cafe within invisible magic happening amongst the hustle and bustle of a coffee shop. But we do support the feelings of it and no one will ever know you've visited because you looking to reduce your feelings of loneliness.
LilyAnne's can help create these connections with a variety of activities and events which are all aimed at reducing the feelings of loneliness. Loneliness does not mean you are depressed it means we are programmed to seak out human connections and human connections are what reduces these feelings.
